My name is Eleni Hannula. I’m an oil painter, illustrator, and graphic designer drawn to storytelling and the beauty of the everyday. I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember, building little worlds from whatever I could find, on paper and beyond.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design with a concentration in Illustration from Seattle Pacific University. Over the years, my work has taken many forms, from digital illustration and private commissions to developing an illustrated product line and printed collections. Recently, my focus has returned to oil painting. I create story-driven works inspired by classic children’s books, vintage finds, and the feeling of home.
Born and raised in Washington, I will always favor the color green, the deep, layered kind that comes from moss, trees, and rain-soaked evenings. That landscape shapes everything I make.
My current gallery wall project is a growing collection of hand-painted oil paintings designed to feel like stories for your home. Each piece is created slowly, with the hope that it becomes part of someone else’s everyday life.
